Well, that just happened to me. With THE WIRE. No surprise, right? But the confluence of several events has led me to act on that desire.
1) It’s still my birthday week and I can still celebrate. Damn it.
2) The show is so brilliant and such a snapshot of the underbelly of American society and so complex and beautiful and heartbreaking.
